Our Mission Statement

Christ Church commits itself to further extend the influence and benefits of the Christian faith within the community of Portsdown and the wider world by its own example and through pro‑active partnerships with other organisations 

Objective

	To provide well run and effective opportunities for worship and spiritual growth in accordance with the needs of the existing and potential congregation especially young people
	To encourage and develop the skills of the congregation in the service of others
	To develop pastoral care programmes to serve those in need within the community
	To seek the most appropriate ways to further develop our contribution to the work of mission through partners and organisations
	To make more effective use of the church buildings for the benefit of the congregation and the wider community
	To offer an annual social programme to provide fellowship for a wide variety of people
