About our Church

On the site we have the main Church building which was constructed in 1871 and consecrated in 1874, a graveyard which is still currently open, and managed as a wildlife area, a military cemetery and a parish hall.  In the grounds of the parish hall is the Portsdown Scout and Guide headquarters.

We are currently looking to re-order our church building and open the site up to become the Portsdown Parish Centre.  Full details can be found by clicking the Parish Centre link in the top navigator.

Churchyard

Our Churchyard is split into a number of areas - To the right is a map showing these areas.  Click the map to see a higher quality version (170Kb).

In conjunction with the list of graves this map can be used to locate a specific grave > more.

Our Churchyard is managed to protect the natural wildlife habitats - You can see this plan by clicking the left navigator.

Parish Hall

To the north side of our Church is our Parish Hall.  The hall has three main spaces where a number of local groups meet.  For details, and information on hiring the hall for your use see the Parish Hall page > more.
