GIVE THANKS FOR our new Bishop
Christopher and pray for him preparing to come here and getting
to know Portsmouth diocese.

PRAY FOR all our military
personnel engaged in areas of conflict and our leaders
who have to make decisions about their deployment.
|
|
|
PRAISE THE LORD for the
opportunity to deepen faith in home groups as we read and
discuss issues in “The Purpose Driven Life”.
|
|
|
PRAY FOR all our parents,
families and young people especially those preparing for exams
and seeking guidance for the future.
|
|
|
THANK GOD for all the
contributions by our older members and pray for those whom God
is calling to replace them in parish positions of responsibility
as our APCM approaches.

Mission of the Month
Tearfund
|
|
|
|
GIVE THANKS FOR over £1 million
that Tearfund was able to send for victims of the Haiti
disaster.
|
|
|
PRAY FOR Theresa Malila, and 20
other inspired individuals, that they use the Tearfund support
funds effectively.
|
|
|
THANK GOD for our local
churches who are partners in the Tearfund network.
|
|
|
PRAY FOR all the Tearfund staff
both in the UK and in regional offices, for provision for their
spiritual and day-to-day material needs.
|
|
|
PRAISE GOD FOR the local
Christians who are Tearfund partners in conflict zones, and pray
for their safety and that all their everyday needs will be met.
