Prayers for the previous weeks:
Week 6 - (22 to 28 March):
This week we have a prayer with actions from
Christian Aid
Dear God
Although we are quite small
(crouch down into a ball)
and the world seems very big
(stand up and raise arms high above your head)
Please help us to see
(put hands to eyes as if using binoculars)
that we van be strong
(put arms up and show muscles)
and help to make wrong things right
(shake finger at "wrong" and thumbs up for '"right'"

Week 5 - (15 to 21 March):
Dear God
Help us to live with
thankful and giving hearts
Help us to be kind and generous
to others who are in need
This day and evermore

Week 4 - (08 to 14 March):
Dear God
We pray for all those affected
by disease around the world.
We pray for grandparents
who take in orphaned children.
We pray for children
who have lost parents.
We ask that they would know
your comfort and strength
Amen
Week 3 - (01 to 07 March):
Dear God
Thank you for today.
I am grateful for the good things
(say one thing out loud)
I bring before you the hard things
(add your own situations)
Help me to see you more clearly,
Love you more dearly,
and follow you more nearly,
day by day

Lord Jesus, thank you for this day.
Be with us as we travel through these weeks of Lent.
Help us to show your love by being kind and generous to others.

We are sorry for the wrong thing we have done.
We are sorry if we have hurt others.
We ask you to forgive us and help us change.
