Events

We have a very active Social Team who plan and run many events during the year ranging from Fund Raising events, Choir's and Musical events in the Church, Entertaining evening events and days out.  Our Mission Support Team look at Mission Events and our Mission Support Program.  Our Worship team plan our Worship and Services together with the Key Services during the year.

Sponsored Bible Reading

Some 200 readers, including many children, read the whole Bible in 20 minute sessions in Church from Genesis 1 v 1 to Revelations 22 v 21 on 14-17 March 2005. The whole reading took 77 hours and 35 mins which we understand is a new world record - unless you know otherwise?

In the Summer of 2008, St Annes Church, Limehouse, London held a Bible reading marathon, and completed it in 74 hours, with many of the benefits that ours brought. However they beat us by two hours!
