Vicar: Reverend Andrew (Andy) Wilson
Andy is married to Jacqui and they have three adult sons and two grandchildren. After a career in the IT industry, Andy trained for ordination at Trinity College, Bristol. Andy was ordained in 1999 and served for 8 years at Hosanna, a new church forming part of Broadwater Parish in Worthing, West Sussex.
In 2007, Andy was appointed Vicar of Christ Church Portsdown. Andy has also been Priest-in-charge of the neighbouring parish of Purbrook since January 2019 and is also Curate in the parish of Crookhorn.
Andy is chaplain to Havant & Waterlooville FC, who play in the National League , the fifth tier of English football.
Andy served as Joint Area Dean of Havant from 2014 to 2019.

Associate Minister: Reverend Laura Cameron
After many years as a sister in Accident and Emergency and more latterly as a Practice Nurse, followed by six years as head of healthcare, holding the position of a Governor, at HMP Winchester, Laura worked in a detox and rehabilitation centre for drug and alcohol addiction prior to training for ordination in 2010.
Laura was Ordained as a Self-Supporting Minister in 2013 and served for 4 years at St Johns Shedfield and St Nicholas Wickham and Holy Trinity and St Columba Fareham.
In 2015 Laura joined the NHS as a hospital Chaplain and served the visitors, staff and patients of QA hospital for 3 years.
In 2019, Laura was licensed as Associate Minister at Christ Church Portsdown and St. Johns Purbrook.
Reader (Lay Minister): Sandra Morgan
Sandra Morgan has been a lay reader for nearly eighteen years. She completed her training in the Diocese of Derby. Since 2006 she has exercised her ministry in London and Portsmouth. She married Launce in 2011 at St. Peter’s Church, Somerstown. After a time abroard Sandra and Launce now live in Port Solent and have been worshipping at Christ Church since August 2014.
Christ Church Portsdown is part of a cluster of three parishes along with the Church of the Good Shepherd, Crookhorn (CoGS) and St John the Baptist, Purbrook and the clergy minister across all three churches.
